Because sometimes things just don’t work out—and that’s okay

At Capybara Coffee, we want you to love every sip, every bean, and every brew tool you receive from us. But hey, we get it—sometimes things don’t go to plan. Whether your package arrived looking a little worse for wear, something’s not quite right with your order, or you simply changed your mind, we’re here to make returns as smooth and stress-free as possible (just like our coffee).

Can I return my order?

Yes, in most cases! Here’s the lowdown:

  • Non-perishable items (like mugs, brewing gear, accessories, etc.):
    You can return these within 14 days of receiving your order, as long as they’re unused, in original packaging, and in sellable condition.
  • Perishable goods (like coffee and tea):
    For food and drink items, we unfortunately can’t accept returns unless there’s a problem (like damage, incorrect items, or something not quite right). If that’s the case, we’ll sort it out ASAP—just reach out.

How to return something

If you’re eligible for a return, follow these steps:

  1. Email us at info@capybaracoffee.shop within 14 days of receiving your order.
  2. Let us know your order number, what you’d like to return, and why.
  3. We’ll get back to you with instructions on where to send your item and how to package it.
  4. Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll issue a refund or store credit (your choice).

Please note: We don’t currently offer free returns, so return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility—unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect, in which case we’ve got you covered.

Refunds

Refunds are processed within 5 working days of us receiving your return.
Refunds will be sent to your original payment method, and you’ll get a confirmation email when it’s on the way.

If you haven’t seen your refund after 10 working days, feel free to pop us a message—we’ll help chase it up.

Exchanges

Want to swap something for a different item? Just email us and we’ll do our best to help—whether it’s switching out a gift, getting a different mug design, or fixing a mix-up.

My item arrived damaged—what do I do?

If you’re unsure whether your item is eligible for return, or just want to double-check something before you send it back, give us a shout at info@capybaracoffee.shop. We’re a friendly bunch, and we’re always happy to help.

Need a hand?

Oh no! If something shows up broken, squashed, spilled, or looking sad, we’re on it. Please email us with:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • A couple of clear photos showing the damage

We’ll replace it or refund you, no drama.
